HMDD Car Giveaway Sweepstakes — Official Rules (California-Compliant)

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Sponsor

The HMDD Car Giveaway Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by HMDD (“Sponsor”).

2. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 12:00 AM Pacific Time and ends on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (“Entry Period”).

Only entries received during this period are eligible.

3. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Void where prohibited by law.

Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate.

4. How to Enter (Free Entry Required Under California Law)

To receive a free entry, each participant must complete all of the following steps during the Entry Period:
    1.    Follow the HMDD page, and
    2.    Follow the Mote page (platform to be specified, e.g., Instagram), and
    3.    Sign up for SMS early access using a valid phone number.

No purchase or payment is required to enter or win.

Limit one (1) entry per person.
Entrants may not use multiple accounts, phone numbers, or automated tools to enter.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive:

A 2025 BMW X6M Competition
    •    Approximate Retail Value (ARV): [Insert accurate ARV]
    •    Prize includes the vehicle as-is with standard manufacturer features.

Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes; vehicle registration; title; licensing; insurance; transportation (if applicable); and any optional equipment or upgrades.

Prize is nontransferable, and no cash alternative is available except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

6. Winner Selection

One (1) potential winner will be selected at random from among all eligible entries received.

Drawing will occur on or about December 8, 2025.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Notification

The potential winner will be contacted via the phone number provided during SMS sign-up.

The potential winner must respond within 48 hours of the initial notification.
Failure to respond in time, inability to verify eligibility, or failure to sign required documents may result in disqualification. In such a case, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

Winner may be required to sign:
    •    An Affidavit of Eligibility,
    •    A Liability Release, and
    •    A Publicity Release (where permitted by law).

8. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, by entering, participants grant Sponsor permission to use winner’s name, likeness, voice, social media username, and city/state of residence for advertising and promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation.

9. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Sweepstakes if technical failures, fraud, or other causes beyond its control impair its integrity or proper functioning.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or corrupted entries or communications.

Any attempt to tamper with or undermine the Sweepstakes may result in disqualification.

10. Release & Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless HMDD, its affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives from any liabilities, losses, or damages arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance/use of the prize.

11. California-Specific Disclosures

In accordance with California Business & Professions Code §§ 17539–17539.3:
    •    No purchase or payment is required to enter or win.
    •    No entrant will be automatically enrolled in any subscription, continuity program, or paid service.
    •    The prize pool contains one (1) BMW X6M Competition, and the ARV will be clearly disclosed in all promotional materials.
    •    Entrants may request a list of winner(s) as described in Section 13 below.
    •    Entry via digital or social platforms must comply with all platform policies and California truth-in-advertising requirements.

12. Privacy

Personal information collected (including phone numbers) will be used solely for Sweepstakes administration, SMS entry verification, and winner communication, and will not be sold or shared except as required by law.
Sponsor’s privacy policy governs use of all information collected.

13. Winner List

To obtain the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

Requests must be received no later than January 31, 2026.

14. Governing Law

The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of California, without reference to its conflict of law principles.
